Supports Vancouver Food Bank:
Dunbar Smiles has been supporting Vancouver’s food bank since 2021. Every month Dunbar smiles contributes a portion of its earnings to help support the community’s most vulnerable.
Operating out of downtown east side, the food bank provides meals to homeless as well as warm clothing during the winter to help get through the coldest months.
Aspire Dental Services Program.
Dr Tiwana has been part of Aspire dental program since 2020 and has helped in conducting free dental screenings for newly arrived refugees in Canada with ongoing follow up treatments.
Work Experience Programs:
Dr Tiwana also hosts high school and undergraduate students interested in health sciences to explore dentistry through hands-on shadowing opportunities.
During this time, they are exposed to different aspects of dentistry as well as different outlooks to the dental profession.
